From festivals like 30A Songwriting Festival and Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion, to listening rooms throughout the United States, Ben and Kassie have been offering their own brand of raw Americana to audiences large and small.
WINNER of the 2022 Rocky Mountain Songwriter Contest and Finalists in the Kerrville Folk Fest 2021 New Folk Competition, the duo's bold harmonies are clearly a channel for their highly charged songwriting.
Ben and Kassie declared performance as their love-share to the world, and since then, have maintained the love and commitment they put into their shows.

March 30th: David Jones … Whether playing in a quaint restaurant setting or in front of 5,000 at a festival, David Jones connects with his music. After 25 years away from the trumpet he picked it back up 12 years ago. In that short span he has played all over the country (Atlanta, New Orleans, Hollywood), has opened for the legendary Aaron Neville and has his own Pandora station "David Jones (Jazz) Radio". Enjoy his smooth, soulful approach to the jazz genre of trumpet and vocals, playing everything from Sinatra to Carole King to originals and Chaka Khan.

April 6th Mitch Emmons is a performing songwriter here in the Lake Martin area. He is a former member of the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) and a "NSAI Certified" songwriter. He can be found playing acoustic cover gigs throughout the Lake Martin/Auburn/Montgomery areas, as well as on the Alabama Coast.

April 20, 2023 – Greg LaFollette …is a Dadeville native. After receiving and a degree in Music Education, he spent several years as a band director and was involved in band, choir, church and community theater while living here, but his first musical love has always been the piano, having played since the 2nd grade. Greg has been a member of the Memphis Vocal Arts Ensemble and the Alabama Symphony Chorus. While living in TX, Greg began performing in restaurants and at special events. He still enjoys playing and singing for friends and family. We’re delighted to have Greg coming home to Dadeville!

If you are interested in spending eight days cruising 600 miles on the Tennessee River and raising money for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, then this is the place for you!

To find out what the Tennessee River 600 is really all about (and no, it is not a race), check out our About Us page. If you don’t have enough time in your schedule to join us for the entire trip, check out our 2011 itinerary (we will have the 2012 itinerary available as the event gets closer) and consider joining us for just a day or two.
